Get Your Fishing License

You’ll need to obtain a Florida saltwater or freshwater fishing license depending on what type of fishing you are interested in. Short-term visitor licenses are available.

You do not need a license to fish from municipal piers such as the Naples Pier, or if you are a customer of a professional fishing guide. You do need a license for most all other forms of fishing.

To purchase over the telephone, call 1-888-FISH-FLORIDA (1-888-347-4356) For a telephone purchase, a $3.25 plus 2.5% surcharge of total sale per person will be added.

You may purchase fishing licenses at any Collier County tax collector’s office. Call 239-774-8176 for information. Or, buy them at area Sports Authority, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Sunshine Ace Hardware and select bait and tackle shop locations.
