This year, “The Cove” will screen at their opening night gala on November 5th at the Philharmonic Center for the Arts. For a change of pace, on November 21st, you can catch an outdoor movie in Cambier Park with its incredible 20 by 40-foot inflatable screen.

Come see the culmination of an inspired vision at the Grand Opening of The Naples Botanical Garden on Saturday, November 14th (ribbon-cutting at 11am) and Sunday, November 15. This world-class botanical paradise combines delightful cultivated tropical gardens with beautifully restored natural habitats. Referred to as the Gardens With Latitude, Naples Botanical Garden celebrates the plants and cultures located around the world between 26 degrees North and South, which includes Naples, the Caribbean, Brazil and Asia. Just one of the impressive highlights can be seen in the Brazilian Garden, which pays homage to the incredible diversity of Brazilian flora and to one of its favorite sons, renowned landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx. Its centerpiece will be an original Burle Marx ceramic mural; a massive 7 by 18-foot piece that is the only one of its kind in the United States. Come see this and many other spectacular sights along with daylong activities and entertainment for the entire family to enjoy during Grand Opening weekend, including The Living Garden®, a unique entertainment experience . The interactive Children’s Garden inspires creative play so plan to come and spend the day. Or visit any time after November 14th as this new major attraction will be open daily from 9am to 5pm.
Art takes center stage on November 7th with the Marco Island Center for the Arts’ 40-Year Celebration. The Center will honor the occasion with a special dinner, live music and the unveiling of a special collaborative art project.
November 7th and 8th, bring the whole family to the Old Florida Festival at the Collier County Museum. They’ll learn about local traditions and folkways that are rapidly disappearing from our modern day lives.
Then, on November 19th, join the fun backstage at the Sugden Theater. A special tour will give you a behind-the-scenes peek at what goes down before the curtain goes up.

Art, music, film. And the beaches aren’t bad, either.
As exciting as all the entertainment can be, our colorful scenery is more than just a backdrop. Our applause-worthy sunsets will set the stage for the evening’s stellar performance. World-class seaside dining lets you feast your appetite before you feast your eyes on area art exhibits. And a moonlit stroll along the powder-white sand is the perfect encore after a “bravo” stage performance.
Whatever you choose to do, you’ll be anything but bored this November along the Paradise Coast. Unless, of course, that’s exactly what you want to be.
