Florida's Paradise Coast

Naples' beaches placed in the Top 20 of TripAdvisor's 2011 Traveler's Choice Beach Awards list for USA Beaches! See the full USA beaches list here.

Did you know that Keewaydin Island, an eight-mile long barrier island beach between Naples and Marco Island, was named one of the Top Ten Secret Beaches of the South by Southern Living magazine? It's definitely worth a visit, but is only accessible by boat. Rent one, hire a captain or take one of the area sightseeing cruises that includes a stop on these beautiful white sands.

Beaches in Naples, Marco Island and the Gulf Coast Everglades are clean and pristine and were not impacted by the Gulf oil spill that took place in the summer of 2010. No oil ever reached Southwest Florida and none was ever forecast to come close to this area. And with so many places to enjoy a great stay, there is no reason to delay your visit to the Paradise Coast area.

Naples chef Fabrizio Aielli of Sea Salt restaurant created a unique dish to show, in a delicious way, just how clean and clear the Gulf of Mexico waters are in Naples. His Gulf of Mexico Pasta features linguine cooked in seawater scooped up from the water at Naples Beach, paired with a sauce prepared with fresh, locally caught Florida blue crab and roasted tomatoes. Click here to see a video of the chef preparing this dish. Look in the Adventures in Paradise section to find the link
