The United Arts Council is designated by the state of Florida as the official arts agency for Collier County. They are responsible for promoting the local arts and cultural community. There are 47 arts groups and cultural destinations in the area. The community also includes 100+ galleries and artist studios, along with 500+ artists and entertainers. Information is available online. The site contains a complete calendar of arts events, including free outdoor concerts and festivals.

ArtsNaples World Festival - The Arts & Culture of Russia

This inaugural celebration of the arts of the world is produced in partnership with local, national and international cultural organizations and artists. A different part of the world's culture will be presented each year. The 2012 festival features the arts and culture of Russia and surrounding regions. The following year will cast the spotlight on Latin America. A celebrity gala on May 12 opens a week packed with performances of Russia's most celebrated composers, playwrights, dancers, filmmakers, singers and musicians. Highlights include The Odessa Orchestra, the globe-trotting phenomenon that has earned rave reviews internationally, Modest Mussorgsky's spectacular opera, Boris Godunov and Nikolai Gogul's hilarious comedy The Inspector-General. Children's entertainers, balalaika musicians and folk dancers will provide experiences for the entire family. ArtsNaples World Festival also presents an impressive lineup of exhibitions and lecturers including international experts on Russian painting, jewelry, porcelain, icons, lacquer boxes and folklore.
